April 2009 Newsletter

Hello everyone,

We have an excellent reason to have a celebration for our next meeting! The date of completion for our cow is March 13, so we will either have her finished, our be in the final stretch for getting her done by our meeting date of March 10. So we have decided to hold our next meeting at Liberty Station studio, where the painting is being done. It is a refurbished building in what was part of the Marine base, but is now public. There is a nice patio and lawn outside, and maybe all 40 cows will be inside by then.

If you haven't had a chance to come by and paint, this will give everyone an opportunity to see Cowsablanca. We are going to move the meeting time up to 6PM, and our party will include food and drinks—details to be decided. A toast to the cow and crew will be made, but we won't bonk her over the head with a bottle of champagne!

Liberty Station studio is at 2855 Perry Road, Point Loma. Use Google Maps to find it---I know their directions are correct. This will be a very fun get together---hope to see you there!
